Most of the skills you spent years to master can now be easily replicated by AI or someone else with more hunger, shinier resume and technical competence. The key isn’t to become a better competition, the goal is to make competition irrelevant. You become irreplaceable by positioning. You attain that not with credentials skills or competence. That happens with the intersection of theee things,
1. Your past unique experiences, failures and lessons learned.
2. Contextual trust capital: Where you’ve been and the people that have trusted you there.
3. Through your perspective arbitrage; this is your unique way of seeing things created from the vantage point of the preceding two, including ability to see opportunities, treats and things no one else see, what you’ve seen and know that others can’t see.

This gives you an unfair advantage in making decisions that no one else can understand. Positions cannot be replicated like skills, credentials etc can

Work is an integral part of life, a major aspect of the entire human experience. After God created man, He gave him work(garden to tend) life and work go so hand in hand that you know a man at least to an extent by what he does for a living.

And one of the finest criterion of deciphering a man’s wisdom is by looking at what he chooses to do as work. Obviously, our quality of life, enjoyment of the passage of the time of our lives, or the lack thereof is tied to our work, most of all, we are to be remembered by our work.
Just like other great men, inventors and thinkers before us.

Work is a privilege to be vigorously attacked and embraced not a burden to be endured, the reward for work is more work!

Work is of 4 major types but I’ll share 3( you have to ask for the 4th to get it)
1. A job: that you do just for the money, no connection with the job, not at all.
2. A carrier: this you build for prestige and experience not just for money(now you see why they brag with statements like “I’ve been 20yrs in banking!”)
3. A calling: this you do not just for money, prestige or experience, you do this for one word our modern world/society know little about ; “fulfillment” you wonder why an artist just wants to sing, a painter just wants to paint and are happy doing so while most with millions envy their freedom and happiness? Yeah that’s because he achieved “fulfillment” through the work route of -a calling- followed! Whatever is it you do, make sure you do a good work!
