SIT BY THE WELL OF LIFE.

Text: EXODUS 2 vs. 13-15

Vs. 14: “And he said, who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?”

Gracious God! We honor the Prince of Peace in a new way! Beloved, Moses went out again the next day; please note he didn’t go out two weeks after for fear of the wrong he committed the previous day; but he went out the second day, still sure of his method in fulfilling his purpose on earth. We wonder how many Egyptians he would have to kill. He would not only become guilty of their blood, but he would soon get tired of killing. Thank God that on the second day, God rescued him; may God rescue you before you go too far with your method of delivering the message of the end time. We pray God to rescue you, before you dabble into that debt for the business; before you say yes to that marriage in Jesus name. In God’s rescuing process He made the ones He wanted to rescue to strive together. This time, it was not the Egyptian and the Hebrew, but Hebrew and Hebrew; those he was reaching out to, confronted him. Beloved, they questioned his mission; they asked who made him a judge and a prince over them? They questioned the mission he was eventually going to fulfill. Beloved, it is not as if you have not been called to be a pastor, an apostle, a doctor, a successful business man or woman, but right now, all that is facing your call, your job or profession are questions against the authority/ skill you posses; hindrances to greater levels. It time to seek God’s way. Peradventure you are still doing things this way and that way, it is time to stop your crucial and urgent mission. The Bible says Moses fled; he fled from all that was attacking him. Beloved, it is time to flee; flee to where? He fled to the land of Median, where he sat by a peculiar spot; by a well. You need to sit by the well; you need to find the well of living water; He will redirect you; He will quench your thirst; He will refresh your heart; He will release joy once again, and you will go forward, and His will be fulfilled in Jesus name.

RESERVED MIRACLE

Text: LUKE 5 vs. 1-10

Vs. 4: “When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets, and you will catch many fish.” Vs.5 “Master,” Simon replied, we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, we’ll try again.”

God of Miracles! Beloved, miracles are supernatural interventions of God to influence changes. Everyone wants change, so change is pursued until aim is achieved. But for a Christian the guaranteed Word is that signs and wonders shall follow him that believes. Signs and wonders are normal occurrences in the life of a child of God. He not only experiences them but also becomes a carrier for others. No true child of God stumbles upon a miracle. Miracles are manifestations, resulting from his relationship with the ultimate Miracle Worker. Apostle Peter at this stage experienced what it was like, having the Miracle Worker close to him. He was opportune to have Him use his boat for ministerial assignment. He willingly obliged despite the disappointment of the day; of the fruitless journey embarked on. He gave in, not knowing that it was his appointed time to experience the Master in action. He was patient enough for Him to use the boat well for the propagation of the good news. He humbled himself, stayed in the boat, and listened to the sermon of the day. He’s belief rose not at any point against the message of the day. His stay back in the boat was not as a result of his age (he was twice the Master’s age). He must have being tired but refused to show any trace through grumbling or anxiety. He allowed and enjoyed the fellowship with the grace of God that had appeared to him. Indeed by all spiritual submission, he had become a candidate to experience the miracle of the Word. In your boat, in the journey of life, is the presence of the incomparable Miracle Worker. He simply wants to reach out with the light of the gospel to touch many lives. This wages of acceptance for use is that there is a reserved Word. Obedience to this reserved word is a testimony of the beauty of your relationship with Him. This is not the time to faint or relent in reaching out because in your yielding to Him (your labor) comes your wages. He has reserved a miracle for you as you serve. God bless you.
