Lagos government released the 2026 Land Use Charge bills.
The Lagos State Government officially released the 2026 Land Use Charge (LUC) bills on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Property owners are encouraged to settle their bills promptly to support the state's infrastructure development, including roads, schools, and healthcare facilities.
Key Incentives and Deadlines
Early Payment Discount: A 15% discount is available for property owners who settle their 2026 bills within the stipulated early payment window.
Final Warning for 2025 Defaulters: The government has announced that enforcement actions against those who failed to pay their 2025 Land Use Charge will commence shortly.
How to Pay
Property owners can use several digital and physical channels for payment:
Online Portal: Pay directly via the Lagos Revenue Portal (LRP).
WhatsApp Assistant: Use LOLA (Lagos Online Assistant) via WhatsApp at +2348078441111.
Mobile/Bank Options: USSD codes, internet banking, and physical deposits at designated banks across the state.
LUC Offices: POS terminals are available at various Land Use Charge offices.
Charge Rates Overview
The rates vary depending on the property's use:
Owner-Occupied Residential: 0.076% of the assessed market value per annum.
Commercial/Non-Owner Resident: 0.76% of the assessed property value.
Industrial Property: 0.256% of the chargeable rate.
