ON TALENT MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (I was opportuned to be on a webinar last week where top leaders and HRs discussed about Talent retention and talent strategies. This is one thing making or maring companies)

Once you identified and hired top talents, strategize efficient ways of retaining them because they are the drivers behind the steering that will drive the company to achieve results, you don't wanna loose them. Workers are likely to exit organization if unsatisfied with work environment, culture and psychology.

As more baby boomers are retiring, and some middle Generation X are top talents still working, talent retention is needed pending their retirement

Moreso millennials and GenZs are joining work force with different set of values and expectations. This set of new guys value diversity, inclusivity, flexibility, transparency and good compensation.

Talent strategy requires training and developing their skills and retaining them to help you accomplish business goals. It makes it easier to find and hire employees with needed competencies, skills and knowledge as well as attitudes and values that align with your organization.

Companies should outline plans that will benefit the employees to deliver their job roles excellently well, if this is left unattended to , you will find your top talents struggling to deliver amidst so many forces - personal and coporate which results in non-productivity, low morale, burning out and can eventually lead to exit.

Leaders should change the way they lead to be able to recruit and retain top talents.

Talent management strategy is like a 2 sided coin, it should align with company's objectives as well as outline company's plans to train, develop, and attend to some of their needs that may affect them in delivering excellence.

Still on the golden matter. My niece, her husband and my sister secretly planned and lured me to come to their house and stay over for one night. Little did I know they planned a surprise for me. As early as 6:45am they carried this big cake with birthday songs into the room while I was still on the bed sleeping, that's how my birthday started again 🎂😊
I love pleasant surprises, even they planned with my son. I had to recall how they were telling me to come with clothes and wig ooh, I refused, Is it not just to sleep one night in their house? 🤣😂 I now remembered my Son went in and put something in the car 🤣😂 SECRET PLANNERS ASSOCIATION
