So are we now saying you should not multi-task at all? We are not. We can't throw away the baby with the bathing water.

We are saying however that there is a better way to multi-tasking. It isn't merely switch-tasking.

You can for instance, determine the time needed to complete a task and set out a time for absolute focus on that task. This will work even with long term projects.
