With the continuous rise in the burden of viral hepatitis in Africa, an integrated approach leveraging technology must be adopted to improve access to healthcare services, especially for rural dwellers among whom the burden is highest. By combining the under-listed digital health strategies (infographic), the efforts to eliminate viral hepatitis in Africa can be significantly accelerated, making healthcare more accessible, efficient, and effective. For this to be realized, the civil society must be smart, effective and resilient.

The Civil Society Network on Hepatitis in Nigeria (CiSNHN) under my leadership will prioritize the use of technology to drive advocacy & policy influence, patient awareness & education, community mobilization, research, disease surveillance, linkage to care and service delivery support.
