The defense is porous. Finidi continued with Peseiro's defensive style of area marking, instead of the man on man compact marking (which RSA is using to hold the Super Eagles) and gave too much space for Zwane to run through two defenders.
It's supposed to be a 4-4-2 but that's just on paper. The back line is too slow to recover from joining the attack, allowing RSA to be too dangerous on the counter.

The wingers have been neutralized so far. The attacking has been all bark and no bite.

Seeing the first 15 minutes of the game I knew we'd either draw or lose. Because Finidi has inherited the jinx of his master: an impotent attacking system.
