Earlier today, I read a blog post about opera browser and the writer's sentiment regarding Artificial intelligence was really strong. She flopped the new opera one browser simply because of the AI feature. She was strongly against AI because of the threat of it overtaking real people's job overtime ( I guess she falls under the category of one of those people). Recently, Sam Altman the creator of chatgpt said people should not be delusional driving the narrative that AI will never overtake real people's job, that it will only enhance effectiveness and productivity. He clearly stated that AI taking over people's job is an inevitable reality. However, people's job will be overtaken but more jobs will be created. The problem will not be people becoming jobless because of AI but the real problem will be people being incompetent to take up the new roles created. The screenshot above is an excerpt from an audio book I listened to earlier today. It gives more perspective to the reality of our present dispensation.
