NYSC KOGI SPORTS: PLANTOON 9 SINKS PLANTOON 8

cillating encounter at the Asaya Kabba Camp stadium as the football competition got underway with platoon 9 defeating platoon 8 in a thrilling game.
The encounter, which was the first game of the inter-platoon football competition was indeed a thrilling experience right from the kick-off.
In attendance was the camp Director, Pastor Kingsley Musah who represented the State Cordinator, Pastor (Mrs) M.A Williams. The camp director advised the players not to make the game a do or die affair, rather they should enjoy themselves.
The match started with number 9 of platoon 9 having the first kick of the game.

OBEY THE CUSTOM AND TRADITION OF YOUR HOST COMMUNITIES

The 2022 Batch B stream one Corps Members deployed to Kogi State for their one year national service have been told to obey the custom and tradition of their host communities during their service year. This advise was given at the NYSC Kogi State orientation camp recently by the representative of His Royal Highness of Kabba,Chief Simon Adebayo at the 2022 batch B stream one traditional lecture day.
Chief Simon who said the people of Kogi State are loving and peaceful and accommodating. He however warned the Corps Members not to take granted the culture and traditions of the people. He advised them to stay clear of local politics in wherever they were posted.
The traditional ruler also cautioned the Corps Members who will be posted to schools to relate with the pupils /students responsibly and display high sense of decorum wherever they go. He also advised them that while trying to integrate amongst the communities, they were to make effort to identify and stay clear of sacred and traditional worship centres in any community they were posted to.
Chief Simon Adebayo also informed the Corps Members that the state was hospitable to strangers and advised those with the intention to remain in the state after their service year to pursue legitimate undertaking which includes inter-cultural marriage, could do so legitimately without cutting corners.
