But this isn’t possible!!!..
I am pretty sure the ring was put here,I even double
checked on it to be sure..
How come it’s not here anymore??
‘Princess Kyra you were saying??’..Khalid said and i
adjusted my posture by straightening my hair…
‘Well it’s..it’s..it’s not here I presume so we should go
check the remaining rooms’…I replied…
Everyone left the room and before we could reach the
next room Lai screamed out of nowhere….
‘Dad your ring was in the treasury all along!!!’…
What?!!..
That’s not possible!
‘Oh thank Goodness,you see Kyra?,you were just over
reacting over a little matter so now can we all go
now?!!’..Khalid said..
They all left and Arnold glared at me angrily..
‘You had one thing to do Kyra and you failed,how did
the ring get out anyway!!?’..He asked me and I
frowned..
‘How would I know that Arnold?!,you know I always
carry out my plans carefully so next time think twice
before questioning me okay?!!’..I screamed in anger…
Today is surely not a good day for me..

Lai and i laughed as he mimicked Kyra’s reaction of
the earlier event…
‘I’m sure she’ll be wondering how the ring got back
not knowing that I did it’..He said and i laughed…
Lai came to me yesterday and talked about how he
heard Kyra’s and Arnold’s plan to frame Madison for
an heinous crime..
I’m just so glad he was back in time to save the day if
not I wouldn’t have known what to do next. .
Ten minutes later
I walked back to my room only to see Madison crying
over a calendar…
What is going on with her now?!..
‘What’s wrong Madison,what is wrong with you this
TIME??’..I asked as I sat by the side of the bed and
she sniffed..
‘Tomorrow is my birthday Khalid,I’m turning twenty
five and I’m not even married!!!’..She screamed
blowing her nose and I furrowed my brows..
‘Uhhhh you’re married to me lady and why are you so
bothered about your birthday,you’re not a kid for
crying out loud so why are you so fuzzy about it?’..i
said..
‘You’re the worst husband I’ve ever known,you don’t
even have feelings or anything,why are you always so
cold and rude towards me?,what kind of a husband
doesn’t care about his own wife’s birthday,you’re an
idiot PK’..she fired back and stomped out of the
room…
Maybe she’s right..
I’ve been so cold and rude towards her and the least i
could do is get her a birthday present or throw a party
for her..
‘Hey Nita I need your help with something’..I said as I
came out of my room..
‘What PK??’..She asked..
‘Well tomorrow is Madison’s birthday and I don’t know
what to give a woman for her birthday,I’m clueless
actually and i don’t know what else to do,can i get
some pointers from you??’..I replied..
‘Whoa are you being serious?,well it depends on the
kind of woman she is,Lady Madison is the one that
loves exploring right so get to know somewhere she
really wants to be and then take it from there,is that
good enough??’..She added and left…

‘Good morning’..i heard Madison say as I opened my
eyes..
‘Ahhhh!!!’..i screamed when i realized that her face
was close to mine…
She sneered back at me and tapped her foot on the
floor without saying a word…
‘Huh what are you doing?’..i asked and she scoffed..
‘For crying out loud Khalid you know that today’s my
birthday,shouldn’t I get a wish or something??’..She
said and I smirked..
She doesn’t really know what’s going on in my head
does she???..
‘Look Madison I’m not a fan of birthdays so don’t
disturb me or wake me up from my slumber just
because of your birthday okay?!!’…
Madison’s POV❤️
He did not just say that to me?!!..
Did he just say that to me?!!..
That he doesn’t care about my birthday,he doesn’t
care about me or anything?!..
I don’t even like him so why do I feel so hurt by his
words..
Being in this palace with no one to care about my
birthday is kind of very painful to me..
Back home I normally wake up to the shouts of my
neighbors and siblings all wishing me a happy
birthday…
There would be a very big chocolate cake and I would
blow on the candles making a wish…
But now it isn’t the same anymore…
Oh i miss my mother,I miss my siblings,I miss home..
‘Hey I’m going out,talk to you later’..Khalid said and
left immediately..

I entered another car and drove behind Khalid’s..
He stopped in front of a bakery and what i saw really
shocked me..
He hugged a young lady and they both went inside..

The next stop was in front of a automobile and they
