The Kogi Hotels And Tourism Board Has Partnered With The Smile For All Initiative Group To Promote Tourism In Kogi State. A Group Of Young People From The Initiative Proposed Documenting The Ancient USIKWOKWO CAVE, Which Has Been Around For Over 1,000 Years, And Organizing A Hike To The Cave As A Tourist Attraction.

The Cave Is Believed To Have Been A Dwelling Place For Ancient Inhabitants Of The Area And Remains A Treasure Trove Of History And Culture.

At A Collaborative Meeting Held Today, December 13, 2024, The General Manager Of The Kogi Hotels And Tourism Board, Hon. Prince Philip Orebiyi, Pledged The Board's Technical And Advisory Support For The Initiative. He Also Promised That The Cave Would Be Documented As A Destination For National And International Tourism Engagements.
