Today, we were nourished by God's Word with a timely reminder that those who belong to Christ are called to a higher standard of living. Holiness is not merely a title, it is a lifestyle that sets us apart from lawlessness and iniquity.

God has a unique purpose and plan for every one of us. Many times, we become envious of others because we fail to understand what God is doing in our own lives. True prosperity is not measured by wealth, possessions, or worldly achievements, but by walking in God's will and enjoying His favour.

The Lord challenged us to:

1. Never envy the wicked, no matter how prosperous they appear.
2. Flee from every form of wickedness and choose the path of righteousness.
3. Refuse to give any form of support to evil, whether directly or indirectly.
4. Remain humble and dependent on God's grace, recognizing that every one of us is capable of falling if we become careless or allow ourselves to be seduced by the devil.
5. Trust God with your faithful efforts, knowing that He rewards those who diligently seek and obey Him.

Above all, we were reminded that wickedness has an appointed end. Evil may seem to flourish for a season, but it will never prevail forever. Therefore, let us keep our eyes on Christ and learn to see God's goodness even in a world filled with darkness.
