Try God this year 😌

The campus church closest to me has already closed for the year. However, my sister and I are still in town, so we had to find a place to fellowship. Thankfully, there's a Deeper Life English church for adults around, so we attended the fellowship there today.

I was blessed by the scripture study, where one of our mothers reminded us of the negative effects of alcohol on spiritual life and health, emphasizing that when you consume alcohol, you're not in control.

She also spoke about the importance of embracing God's love at a young age, emphasizing that sincere obedience and love for God in youth lead to a regret-free life.

Later, the English church pastor urged us to give thanks daily for 30 minutes in the coming year and yield completely to God. He emphasized, "In 2024, get ready for God!" It sounded like a blessed proclamation, but reflecting, it might be a warning - God will repay all evil deeds.

Whether blessings or judgment, the choice is yours. Repentance can alter your fate; otherwise, prepare for God.

I look forward to encountering more of God and His goodness in the new year. May the Lord be with us all. Amen!

Blessed are they, who hunger and thirst for they shall be filled.

Amazingly, God's promises stand waiting for you to claim them; God doesn't say empty words, whatever He has said He will do.

Pray with this understanding every time, He's just waiting for you to ask, only ask, and keep asking until you receive.
