Key Expressions:

Allô ? – Hello? (when answering the phone)

Bonjour, ici [your name]. – Hello, this is [your name].

Puis-je parler à [name], s’il vous plaît ? – May I speak to [name], please?

Je vous le / la passe. – I’ll put him/her on.

Il/Elle n’est pas disponible. – He/She is not available.

Voulez-vous laisser un message ? – Would you like to leave a message?

Phone Etiquette Tips:

Always greet with Bonjour or Bonsoir.

Use vous in formal conversations.

Speak clearly and politely.

End with Merci, au revoir or Bonne journée.
