..as Moyo Ogunlewe donates A Mercedes GLE 450 and 2 Toyota Highlander 2014 SUVs to royal fathers
In a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe has donated three SUV cars to the royal fathers within the local government area. The beneficiaries are the Oloworo of Oworonsoki, Oba Babatunde Saliu who got a Mercedes GLE 450, the Ologudu of Ogudu, Oba Nojimu Akinwumi Fashola and the Olojota of Ojota, Oba Jimoh Olawale-Cole who got a Toyota Highlander 2014 model each.
The royal fathers expressed profound gratitude for the chairman's thoughtful gesture, commending his outstanding leadership and developmental strides within the first three years of his tenure. They showered encomiums on Ogunlewe for his remarkable achievements in office, which have positively impacted the lives of Kosofe residents.
In a show of support, the traditional rulers offered prayers for the chairman's success in the forthcoming local government elections, where he will be seeking a well-deserved second term. Their endorsement underscores the widespread appreciation for his people-oriented administration and his unwavering commitment to the progress of Kosofe.

KOSOFE INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATE: MAJOR PROGRESS ON ROAD AND DRAINAGE PROJECTS
Significant strides are being made in Kosofe's ongoing infrastructure development initiatives. The upgrade of Roju Avenue in Ojota as part of the Lagos State 114 roads project has commenced this week, with contractors making steady progress. Meanwhile, the drainage construction on both sides of Frederick Eze Nwosu Street in Ogudu GRA has surpassed 70% completion, promising improved flood management for residents.
Equally noteworthy is the progress at Taiwo Lane, which links Epetedo Street to Gafari Balogun Street in Ogudu. Here, both drainage and road construction works are advancing smoothly. These projects underscore the local government's commitment to enhancing mobility, reducing flooding risks and improving overall quality of life for Kosofe residents.
The timely ex*****on of these crucial infrastructure projects reflects Barr Moyo Ogunlewe administration's dedication to sustainable urban development in Kosofe.

MOYO OGUNLEWE FETES RETIREES IN GRAND STYLE
..as he hosted a lavish celebration to mark end of service for dedicated council workers
Kosofe Local Government rolled out the red carpet on Wednesday 17th of April, 2024 to honor its 2023 batch of retirees in a grand ceremony attended by top dignitaries. The council premises played host to pump and pageantry as the creme de la creme gathered to celebrate the long service of the outgoing workers.
The highlight was the presentation of Certificates of Release by a representative of the Lagos State Head of Service. The retirees also received valuable guidance on managing their post-retirement lives through wise investments in the current economic climate.
Council Chairman Moyosore Ogunlewe represented by the Council Vice Chairman, Hon Oluwole Șosanya praised the retirees for their years of dedicated service and commitment to Kosofe Local Government. He wished them fulfilling golden years ahead as they embark on a new phase of life after giving their all to the local government.
The well-attended event was a fitting tribute to the hard work and loyalty of Kosofe's retiring staff members and we pray the almighty grant them the health and long life to eat the fruit of their decades long labour.
