Growing Kogi Central, Building Our Future. 🌳

Yesterday, I commenced the planting of 10,000 economic trees across Kogi Central… an initiative I am personally funding as my contribution to building healthier communities, strengthening local economies, and protecting our environment for generations to come.

By planting mango, guava, orange, neem, moringa, and other valuable tree species, we are investing in food security, climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, erosion control, cleaner air, and sustainable livelihoods. These trees will provide fruits, medicine, shade, income, and hope for decades to come.

This initiative is also my little way of aligning Nigeria with the United Nations Climate Change agenda under the COP framework, by supporting practical, community-driven climate action that reduces environmental degradation while improving lives.

A tree planted today is a promise to tomorrow. I encourage our youths, women, schools, and every resident to nurture these trees, because their success belongs to all of us.

Together, let us grow a greener, healthier, and more prosperous Kogi Central… one tree at a time. 🌱🇳🇬
