POLITICAL WATCH | EPICMORE NEWS
As the chances of President Tinubu securing a second tenure tighten, amid growing calls for good governance, new political strategies are unfolding ahead of 2027.
One move drawing attention is the reported use of high-profile Igbo billionaires to weaken the political base of Mr. Peter Obi. Now, Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana) has been announced as the South East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, the youth wing of Tinubu’s campaign structure, reportedly linked to Seyi Tinubu.
Interestingly, Pastor Jerry Eze once prayed publicly for Obi Cubana. Could this appointment be a prayer answered in an unexpected way?
Politics, perception, power, and prophecy — all intersecting.

Imo Infrastructural Revolution: A New Dawn for Tourism, Hospitality, and Investment Development.
By Amb. Kelvin Alisi, Editor-in-Chief, Epicmore Magazine
Now, it is clear why many think-tanks and observers laud the Infrastructural Governor of Imo State. According to Hon. Barr. Jerry Egemba, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Imo State,
“Imo State is witnessing a defining moment in its development journey under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.”
The recent commissioning of major infrastructure projects by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, notably: the Assumpta/Control Twin Flyover, the Owerri-Mbaise-Obowo-Umuahia Road, and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, marks a bold leap toward economic renewal, enhanced connectivity, and expanded investment opportunities.
These projects transcend physical structures, they symbolize strategic transformation. With improved road networks and modern flyovers, traffic congestion is easing, travel times are shorter, and access to Imo’s cultural and hospitality destinations has become seamless. This enhanced mobility directly drives tourism growth, hotel patronage, and visitor experience, positioning Imo as one of Nigeria’s most promising destinations for both leisure and business.
The newly commissioned Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre stands as a monumental addition to the State’s assets, elevating Imo’s profile as a preferred venue for national and international conferences, exhibitions, and cultural events. Its operation will boost the local economy, generate employment, and create ripple effects across the transport, catering, and entertainment sectors.
For investors, this infrastructural revolution sends a clear message: Imo is open for business. Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, the government’s dedication to quality delivery, transparency, and sustainable development continues to attract growing confidence from both local and foreign investors.
According to Hon. Barr. Jerry Egemba, the Ministry is aligning these infrastructural gains with a comprehensive tourism master plan—linking improved road access to cultural sites, eco-tourism clusters, and hospitality growth corridors. Capacity-building programs for tourism operators and destination marketing initiatives are also being intensified to ensure Imo’s tourism and hospitality standards meet global expectations.
Imo’s transformation is not merely physical, it is cultural, economic, and visionary. It reflects a government determined to turn opportunities into prosperity and to make tourism and hospitality key drivers of the State’s inclusive future.
Imo is not just rising, Imo is ready.
Imo is open. Imo is the future.
