You know it's funny how people intentionally hurt you and expect you to just overlook it because you are a Christian.

You know people will do unthinkable things to you and if you react, you hear things like nawa ooo SEBI you call yourself a Christian

This is common to self-centered people of the world with the intention to guilt trip you to do their biddings.

But that's not even where I'm going.

I want to talk about fellow christians hurting you and expecting no reaction from you or they expect you to react in a certain way.

If you react then you are the one who is not a Christian, you are not following Christ, you are supposed to just overlook their wrongdoings and move on

Automatic forgiveness without any reaction from you, you must forgive and forget and not react nor hold any grudges nor ill feeling because of course you are a child of God

As if they are not the child of the devil for intentionally provoking someone Christ died for.

See brothers and sisters actions and reactions are equal but opposite, this law is true anywhere in the world take it or leave it.

Now as christians are we supposed to forgive?

Most definitely.

But listen and listen good if you hurt people they are going to react, and you can't dictate how people will react, mbanu it's not possible.

If you are wrong apologize and mean it, be truly sorry. Don't expect automatic ticket to forgiveness.

It doesn't work like that, wether christian or not, people have the right to be angry if you wrong or hurt them.

Let's stop taking away that right from christians, we are not zombies, we feel pain too, we have emotions too, we live in the body "this flesh".

Let's begin to teach accountability in churches, not only forgiveness, let's begin to hold people accountable for their actions instead of just asking the offended to forgive.

Let the offender too be held accountable for their actions that's the balance, if not we will keep raising self-centered, arrogant christians, who believes they can behave anyhow and get away with it.

Let's Stop dictating to christians how they should react to offense, if not we will keep raising pretentious christians, who act normal when infact they harbor grudges in their hearts.

Let's start teaching accountability in churches, if not SEBI the world is chaotic as it is, if we don't start holding people accountable for their actions, get ready for what's about to come.

We will see irresponsibility at its peak. Remember it's supposed to be from the church to the world.

Let's start raising responsible and accountable christians now before it gets out of hand.

If not the chaos we are seeing in the world right now is small compared to the one that is coming, if the church doesn't wake. Selah

Hello my people, my people.

EYIN AKORIN HAPPY SUNDAY OOO!!!!

I have been meaning to write this, but I have been kinda busy, (I have been going to and fro checking things out)

Just that I'm not the devil😆😁😁😁😁

Now to the main business of the day, you know, I came across a Facebook post, sometimes last week and the holy ghost used that post to speak to me.

The post was like, "Majority of our problem will be solved if we will learn to get out of the head"
In no particular order

Then right there and then it struck me that, I have been stressing a lot lately because of overthinking.

I will adress this post particularly to the christians, and if you are not a Christian you will still learn from it.

But I will say this word of Paul "Acts 26:29 (KJV) And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds"

See majority of our problems as human especially christians started with overthinking

These past few weeks has been challenging for me, pressure everywhere, and I must not fail God, I must not fail my children, I must not fail my generation.

So I've been thinking alot, Nigeria's economy is not helping, I have been choked with worry responsibilities and all sort.

Honestly the pressure was getting to me, it took God to show me that post to reset my factory settings.

You know being an introvert, my own overthinking is so bad, that if someone offends me, and I have properly constructed my response in my head

By the time I see the person I won't be able to say it,

Likewise people that live too much in the head can't do too much because they have found comfort in their head.

They, do almost everything in their head,

See every problem, I mean any problem whatsoever begins with thoughts.

Everyone wether christian or not, I want you to think and tell me of any decision you have ever made that didn't start with a thought?

Now as christians we start having problems when we as children of God allows the devil to magnify, our needs, wants, problems, emotions, sins to us as bigger than God.

I know the economy is bad, I know everywhere is tensed, but hear me and hear me well "The just shall live by faith"

I know people might have hurt you in the past, making you to find solace in yourself, thereby overthinking things,

But

I'm putting it you now get out of the head,

I'm putting it to you tonight, GET OUT OF THE HEAD.

start living, start trusting more, There's a better life outside the comfort of your head.

You have the holy ghost, trust Him more, learn to live precept, upon precept, line upon line, a little here, a little there.

I know you have built a castle in your head, but get out come back to reality, get up do something, learn to trust the holy ghost, it's a lot easier with Him by your side.

Let Him lead just follow effortlesssly without asking questions, or thinking about anything, you will see you will enjoy more you will have more peace.

And if peradventure you don't know the person of Holy ghost I will advice you to go and know him, because this present day Nigeria you will need Him.

Once again God wants you to get out of the head, and live in the spirit more. SELAH

YOUR MONEY GOES WHERE YOUR HEART IS

So you can spend 500,000 on jack yet you can’t give me 50,000 for my surgery right?

Tolu has started again today ooo.

What is it this time?

Okay you want to know let me tell you exactly what happened;

Oge and Jacob were in a serious relationship, about to get married.

But Jacob has one habit, and that habit was that, he makes promises he can’t keep.

He might tell Oge he would buy her something and the next minute be like I forgot now.

That has been going on for a while until, Oge got sick, her appendix burst and if you have experienced that you can relate with the pain.

Oge was scheduled for surgery and Jacob promised to foot the bills.

Fast forward to the day of the surgery Jacob bailed out on his fiancé as usual.

The surgery needs to be done urgently before it poses threat to Oge’s life

It was Oge’s friend Segun that came to her rescue. He foot the bills without hesitation.

You will ask me, what about Jacob right?
I asked too

Jacob said he couldn’t show up because he forgot, that Oge should have reminded him.

Oge then told me how her fiance bought a chain of 500, 000 for Jackson his dog a day before her surgery.

So Oge asked me do you think He loves me.

…………..

You? Yes you now, What do you think?

As the “ 4 d mama ke” that I am
I asked Oge, if segun was interested in her, she said yes

my next question,

Why Jacob? She said her parents didn’t like Segun because of tribal differences.

I told her Jacob doesn’t love her, he just needs to get married to a figure head

She was shocked.

I told her when someone truly cares about you if they made a promise to you they don't have to be reminded before fulfilling the promise.

Secondly he would have at least showed up, he didn’t.

That simply means he didn’t value you enough to spare his time for you.

In summary I told her she was not in his thoughts, nor his heart. To him she was more like a trophy.

Well what happened between oge and Jacob is a story for another day..

Now to the main business;

Do you know that three things defines our value system.(I mean what we love or cherish)

1. what we spend our money on

2. What we spend our time/attention on

3. What we think of 70% of our time.

And then we go out of our way to please or satisfy those we love even when it is not convenient for us.

But no matter how much we love anyone, to die for them is a no-no

Well, guess what! someone did.

His name! Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
He died for you, He died for me.

He died for the sin of the whole world so that you and I can become the righteousness of God.

He died, He was buried and on the third day, He rose for our justification.

So what will it be, will you be like oge? Who chose Jacob over Segun despite knowing the extent of Segun's love for her?

Or will you change your mind and choose the real love of Christ.

“for we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, even though He was rich yet He became poor, that we might through His poverty become rich”

Oh, what height of love!

Why not come unto Jesus all ye that are weary and burdened He will give you rest.

So, do you want to experience this love? If so, say after me

LORD JESUS I BELIEVE THAT YOU DIED, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE ON THE THIRD DAY FOR MY JUSTIFICATION.

I BELIEVE I AM NOW A CHILD OF GOD THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.

HENCEFORTH I LIVE IN THE REALITY OF THE LOVE OF GOD TOWARDS ME.

If you have done this truthfully, well guess what you are now a child of God, a member of the body of Christ.

I would have said you should join any bible believing church in your area, but how would know a bible believing church?
