SKIN ELASTICITY: This is the capability of the skin to spring back to it's original shape after being stretched or pulled at; similar to a brand new rubber band that has been stretched out and can quickly bounce back to it's original shape.

There are 2 fibre proteins in the skin responsible for keeping skin firm and elastic:
1) COLLAGEN: it's responsible for keeping the skin supple and firm.

2) ELASTIN: It gives the skin it's flexibility.
