So becoming a movie star in Nigeria is not a tea party. It requires commitment, diligence, and hardwork.

No one knows you, and they probably don’t have much confidence in your ability to deliver. So giving you a role on their set is more or less a risk they are taking. The more reason you should be appreciative and give it your best shot. With time, you can start landing better roles, and in no time, you will become th darling of Nollywood!

I know you must have been told to join the AGN.Yes, inasmuch as this is a right step to take, you must realize that AGN doesn’t give roles or acting jobs. So don’t bank on becoming a stat simply by registering and joining AGN.

The best way to get acting roles is via auditions, and maybe registering with an agency who will feature you in their movies, or arrange for you to act on other sets.
