Self care is not just skin care, it includes not saying mean things to yourself. Acknowledging your flaws and working on them. Taking your personal development serious. Not dating a philandering human. Holding yourself to high esteem. Having empathy for yourself. Living and eating healthy. Avoiding chaos and drama. Loving absolute peace because your life literally depends on it. Being a person of integrity. Choosing the right partner and not settling because of fear, pressure or material things you will be able to afford when you eventually make it big.
Self care is giving absolute love to the person you see in the mirror. Going out of your way for the darling you see in the mirror, you know how you go out of your way for your loved ones to make them happy right? Yeah, do that for yourself as often as possible. Self care is believing in yourself even when the chips are down. Self care is loving God and guarding yourself spiritually.
Care for yourself like you would care for a glass sculpture❤️
Love yourself better this year!

Title: where love lives
Why do I love this scene? Because it showed love, loyalty and trust that wasn't and will not be broken. When she said I have gotten about a 110 million naira and it's something YOU can use to start afresh I actually thought I heard wrong and I had to rewind to confirm I heard correctly.
Let's break this down, there are times when I think feminism shouldn't be brought into a situation, just be realistic because in this situation nobody's right was being taken for granted. if I were to be in her shoes and I've confirmed the love, loyalty and trust I'll definitely give all the money I got from the things I sold to the person who has results, to the person who has turned thousands into millions and 100s of millions and even made extra gain to buy material things worth 100s of millions for me and was still in business. I won't go into business with such amount of money as a novice when I have a trusted person that can turn it into a generational wealth, it's too risky, business is not as easy as we make it seem online. You need to be realistic when dealing with real life issues and not be delusional. Better still use the 10 million to start up something for yourself, buy stocks, or even start small with land banking, learn a skill to avoid being a stay at home wife with zero naira but when it comes to real life physical business I'll leave it to a trusted person who can multiply it with the business stuff he knows.
Remember I said a trusted person who has proven himself countless times. If he was a koromoto man you're free to do whatever you deem fit, that's if you didn't leave him when the money was still rolling in but if he was loyal and trustworthy you're better off giving him that money to do what he knows best. Business is brutal ooo, ahhh you wouldn't want to be in that space as a first timer with such amount of money, you can wait to go into the ring of wolves when he's back on his feet but to try your luck with such amount is an unintelligent move to me.
Now the reason I'm saying this here is because I was discussing this film with a friend and when I said this part was my favourite scene she called my name twice and said peculiar no forget say you be feminist ooo, I sincerely laughed uncontrollably because I didn't expect to hear that but yeah, I told her no amount of love or trust will make me forget feminism but it won't make me lose my senses to know where to apply logic and leave the right nobody is tampering alone. To do business with men you need a solid backup incase they sabotage you or run you dry, so you see why it's better to let another man in the wolves ring so when he bounces back he can be your backup and mentor when you're going into business, at least if you lose money you'll see who'd give you another one to continue doing business.
