Igho Akpojotor stated in his speech; "the peaceful exercise of our party's primary elections has shown that our democracy is maturing rapidly. We congratulate all the winners, but more importantly, we celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship displayed across the wards. In an election of this nature, there are no losers—only a stronger, more united party ready to deliver governance to the people."
As a strategic mobilization and advocacy platform deeply rooted in the tenets and principles of the APC, the NDF reaffirms its total readiness to deploy its extensive grassroots structures to work hand-in-hand with all victorious candidates. NDF Kicks Off Ward To Ward Tour, Inaugurates Unit Executives in Udu LGA

The New Dynamic Forum (NDF) on Wednesday commenced its much anticipated ward to ward tour across Udu Local Government Area with the inauguration of unit executives.
Led by its National Chairman, Mr. S.K. Palama, the forum began the tour from its National Secretariat in Orhuwhorun Town.
The delegation, which included key stakeholders and members of the forum, was headed by the Director General of NDF, Hon. Chief Igho Akpojotor, alongside other top executives.
The Victory Train of NDF first arrived at Ward 1 (covering Otor-Udu and Oghior), where it was warmly received by enthusiastic members at the Otor-Udu Town Hall.
The Ward Coordinator, Comr. Ojire Fredrick, joined other leaders and stakeholders to welcome the entourage in grand style.
In his remarks, the Director General, Hon. Chief Igho Akpojotor, commended the large turnout of members in the ward.
He declared that the era of Udu being in the opposition is over, stating that the NDF will work closely with the APC party executives to deliver Udu 5/5 for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections.
“NDF is not in competition with anyone,” he emphasized. “We are a support group under the APC, working hand in hand with party executives and stakeholders to ensure Udu delivers massive and block votes for the party.”
He described NDF as a progressive group that has come to rescue and reposition Udu for greater political relevance.
The National Chairman, Mr. S.K. Palama, urged residents of Udu to speak with one voice and work unitedly to deliver the APC massively in the upcoming polls.
The Director General thereafter formally inaugurated the Ward 1 unit executives in the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The tour continued to Ward 2 (covering Owhrode, Erhiephihor and Ovwohrokpokpor), in Owhrode town, where unit executives were also inaugurated, before concluding at Ward 3 (covering Ogbe-Udu, Ukpiovwin, Okolor-Waterside
and Okolor-Inland), where the NDF team was hosted at the Ukpiovwin Town Hall.
The ward to ward tour is expected to continue tomorrow with visits to the remaining wards in Udu Local Government Area.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: CONDEMNING THE UNJUST KILLING OF UDU YOUTH

I am deeply saddened and outraged by the reports reaching me regarding the tragic killing of a young man from the Ujevwu community by personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Effurun Area Command Team Squard led by ASP. Nuhu Usman and others
On behalf of the people of Udu, I unequivocally condemn this act of extreme brutality. The recurring cases of extrajudicial killings and the use of lethal force against unarmed citizens are unacceptable and fly in the face of the fundamental right to life.
Our Demands:
Immediate Investigation: I call upon the Inspector - General of Police and the Police Service Commission to order an immediate and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
Prosecution of Officers: The officers involved must be identified, Dismissed and brought to face the full wrath of the law. There must be no "cover-ups."
Police Accountability: Law enforcement is meant to protect lives, not terminate them. We demand a complete overhaul of engagement protocols within the local divisions to prevent future tragedies.
Message to the Community
To the family of the deceased and the Ujevwu community, please accept my deepest condolences. We share in your grief. I urge our vibrant youth to remain calm and refrain from any actions that could lead to further loss of life.
I assure you that I am already in contact with the relevant authorities. We will not rest until justice is served for our fallen brother.

The Media Team of the All Progressive Congress, Udu Chapter led by Comrade Godwin Unity Erhuvwuoghene has paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Honourable Member representing Udu Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Collins Ovie Egbetamah on Monday, 20th of April, 2026 at his office in Udu Local Government Area.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening collaboration and aligning efforts toward the development of Udu, and Delta State in General.
