SALVATION IS ETERNAL

1. Salvation is eternal, because it is the work of God. Whatever God does remains forever (Eccl 3:14).
2. Salvation is a gift. You don't pay for a gift, you receive a gift (Eph 2:8-9)

However, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. It is salvation that is eternal. Whether any man receives it or not, it remains eternal.
It is not eternal because you have received it, it is eternal because of who works it (God).

2. The truth that you received him does not mean you cannot lose him. The gift came to you freely but if you decide to throw him away, you will not be forced by God to keep him.

The same way it required your belief (Jn3:16) to receive him, if at any point in your journey, you take a position of unbelief, you will lose him.

IN OTHER TO KEEP YOUR SALVATION, YOU MUST STAY BELIEVING.

To stay believing is to remain within the empowerment that salvation has brought to you.
Titus 2:11-12

Salvation runs on the principle of marriage.
Jesus did not marry us with the hope of a DIVORCE, (Jesus will never divorce you) but if you say that you do not want him again, he will not force you. YOU CANNOT CRUCIFY HIM TWICE.
NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOVE A PRODUCT, YOU CANNOT PAY FOR IT TWICE.

Salvation appeared to all men, but not all men has and will receive him. IT IS NOT FORCED.

The same way he did not force any man to receive him, he will not force you to keep him.

THIS IS WHY WE HAVE MANY SCRIPTURES WARNING US ABOUT FALLING OUT.
Heb 6:4-6
"We cannot continue in sin, for grace to abound".
"Hold fast the profession of your faith"
"He that thinketh he stands, let him take heed"
And many others.

YOU DID NOTHING TO BE GIVEN THE GIFT' BUT YOU WILL DO EVERYTHING TO KEEP IT.
