*NPK GOLDEN FERTILIZER – 20-10-10 & 15-15-15*

"Golden" is a common brand name for NPK compound fertilizers in West Africa. Both 20-10-10 and 15-15-15 are compound fertilizers, meaning they contain all 3 macronutrients in one granule.

1. *What the numbers mean*
NPK numbers show the percentage of the 3 primary nutrients by weight:
- *N = Nitrogen* – for leaf and vegetative growth
- *P = Phosphorus (as P₂O₅)* – for root development, flowering, fruiting
- *K = Potassium (as K₂O)* – for overall plant health, disease resistance, fruit quality

So:
- *20-10-10* = 20% N, 10% P, 10% K
- *15-15-15* = 15% N, 15% P, 15% K

2. *Golden NPK 20-10-10*
*Formulation*: High nitrogen, moderate P and K
*Best use*: Early growth/vegetative stage.

*What it does:*
- *Nitrogen 20%*: Drives leafy growth and greening. Good for maize, rice, cassava, and other crops that need a strong vegetative push at the start

- Some versions include +10S sulfur for improved protein synthesis and soil structure.

*Active ingredient*: Triclopyr 480 g/L EC
*Formulation*: EC = Emulsifiable Concentrate
*Chemical class*: Pyridine carboxylic acid, Group 4 auxin-type herbicide
*Mode of action*: Mimics natural plant auxin hormones. It’s rapidly absorbed by foliage and roots, translocates throughout the plant, and accumulates in meristematic tissue, causing uncontrolled growth and death in susceptible species

*DYNAMIC HERBICIDE is an emulsifiable concentrate containing *Triclopyr 480 g/L EC*. It’s a selective systemic herbicide used to control woody plants, brush, and broadleaf weeds in non-crop and plantation settings.

What it controls
*Triclopyr 480 g/L EC is effective on:*
- *Woody plants and shrubs*: gorse, broom, brambles, _Rubus_ spp., oak, aspen, birch, willow, hazel, maple, cherry, _Eupatorium odoratum_
- *Broadleaf weeds*: nettles, docks, clover, thistles

It’s used in grassland, uncultivated land, industrial sites, coniferous forests, plantation crops like oil palm and rubber, rangeland, and right-of-way
