GOVERNOR UMO ENO'S ARISE AGENDA: TRANSFORMING LIVES AND COMMUNITIES IN OKOBO

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, the Transition Committee Chairman of Okobo Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. George Henshaw, has commended Governor Umo Eno for his kindness and dedication to rural development. The Chairman praised the Governor's compassionate gesture of gifting a fully furnished two-bedroom bungalow to a deserving beneficiary, Mr. Sunday Ufuo, the town crier of Udung Ukpong village in Okobo.

This gesture is the latest in a series of humanitarian efforts by Governor Eno's administration to support vulnerable community members. The Governor's ARISE Agenda has brought significant development and hope to the people of Okobo, fostering a brighter future for the community.

The Chairman also commended Governor Eno for the award of contract for the construction of the 13.5km Okopedi-Oron road, and the model school project at Okopedi. Additionally, he appreciated the Governor for the approval of the construction of a Modern Health Facility at Utime Ukuko in Okobo Local Government Area.

Engr. Henshaw described the Governor's action as a testament to his administration's commitment to the welfare of vulnerable community members. He lauded Governor Eno's leadership, saying it has brought hope and positive change to the people of Okobo. The Chairman reaffirmed Okobo's support for Governor Eno's ARISE Agenda, aligning with the people's aspirations.

LAWMAKER'S OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE EARNED PRAISE FROM FORWARD ORO PROJECT

The Forward Oro Project, a community development organization, has congratulated Rep. Martins Esin, a Member representing Oron, Mbo, Okobo, Udung Uko, and Urue Offong/Oruko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, on his exceptional performance in the last year.

In a statement signed by Hon. George Henshaw, Director General, and Engr. Ben Edenseting, Secretary General, the organization praised Rep. Esin's commitment to the welfare of his constituents, citing his numerous achievements in the past year.

These accomplishments include the facilitation of four road projects, empowerment of over 300 youths in solar system installation and confectionery, provision of furniture for paramount rulers' palaces, business development training for 300 youths under the Oro Youth Enterprise Scheme (OYES), organization of a football tournament for talent scouting, and empowerment of over 100 youths in business development.

The organization also commended Rep. Esin's legislative contributions, particularly his active participation in motions related to security, the upgrade of the Maritime Academy, and youth development.

The Forward Oro Project wished Rep. Esin another successful legislative year ahead, acknowledging his tireless efforts in improving the lives of his constituents.
