A new wave of truth is spreading across Rivers State! 🌊

General Asabuja, a popular vigilante leader in River state and proud Ikwerre son, has openly declared his full support for Igbo unification in Rivers State.

While joining the Indigenous Igbo Group in Rivers State (IIC), General Asabuja said something that touched many hearts:

> “It’s not that we didn’t know we are Igbo. They just used politics to divide us for years. But today, I’m back to where I truly belong. I will do everything within my power to unite all Igbo-speaking people in Rivers State so we can be seen and respected as one — as the Igbo we are.”

Interestingly, not too long ago, some Ikwerre people went to report Mr. Amadi, the admin of The Tribes page, to this same General Asabuja, accusing him of linking Ikwerre people to the Igbo.

Now, the same man they went to report to — General Asabuja himself — has boldly joined the movement for Igbo unity.

The Chairman Andoni Local Government Area, Hon Lucky Promise Otuo, has approved the immediate commencement of the renovation of Community Primary School Oyorokoto, Andoni LGA.

Recall that on July 22nd, 2025, there was a partial collapse of the primary school structure where one of the teachers sustained injury as a result of the collapse.

The renovation is said to commence immediately, and will be completed to mark the 100 days in office of the executive chairman.

🚨 Rev. Uma Ukpai died six days ago, and we, the public, learned of it seven days later. That's the height of trust, integrity, coordination, cooperation, contentment, discipline, and respect for the reverend gentleman. Indeed, his children, wife, and entire family are reliable people. You see, we live in a world where garrulous people mill around families to pick out information for their selfish gain.

I want you to imagine the millions the content creator who may have been the first to spread the news could have made from the grieving family. But all loose ends were tightened, and no information leaked to the increasingly weary public.

Leaking it first before the family's announcement could have made the scornful celebrate their so-called journalistic ingenuity. May his soul rest in peace, and thank you to his entire family for protecting his dignity.

The Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Hon. Promise Lucky Otuo, has joined the global community to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to promoting the rights, education, and empowerment of girls in Andoni.

Hon. Otuo noted that the girl child remains central to sustainable community development, describing her as an essential pillar for the future of society. His administration has continued to demonstrate strong support for the girl child through educational bursaries, empowerment programmes, and initiatives aimed at enhancing female inclusion in leadership and community development.

The Otuo-led administration is anchored on a no-discrimination policy, ensuring that every resident of Andoni regardless of gender, background, or social status has equal access to opportunities, empowerment, and development initiatives.

In line with this year’s global theme, “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being,” Hon Otuo's administration will continue to encourage parents, schools, and community leaders to prioritize equal opportunities for girls and ensure their active participation in educational and social advancement.

The Andoni Local Government Council, under Hon. Otuo’s leadership, remains dedicated to implementing programmes that empower young girls to realize their full potential, reinforcing the belief that when the girl child thrives, the entire community moves forward.

In fulfillment of his campaign promises to provide safe and clean drinking water for the people of Andoni, the Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Promise Lucky Otuo, has commenced the first phase drilling of boreholes in communities across the LGA.

The ongoing projects, which have already begun in Otuafu, Otunria, and Samanga communities in Ward 7, mark a significant step towards addressing the long-standing challenge of access to clean water in the area.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Otuo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the living conditions of Andoni people through impactful and sustainable projects that directly enhance the welfare of the citizens.

According to him, access to potable drinking water is not just a necessity but a right that his government is determined to guarantee for every Andoni household.

Residents of the benefiting communities have expressed joy and appreciation to the council chairman for keeping to his words, describing the project as timely and life-saving.

With several other community development initiatives already in progress, Hon. Otuo’s administration continues to demonstrate action-driven leadership focused on results and people-centered governance.
