🚀 From AI Consumer to Fine-Tuning Practitioner: My Next Leap in Machine Learning

Over the past few years, I’ve worked extensively with AI tools like ChatGPT, integrating OpenAI APIs, building intelligent products, and automating workflows across domains. But recently, I’ve taken a major leap:

I’ve started fine-tuning and training custom AI models from scratch using my own datasets. 🔥

This shift—from consuming pretrained models to crafting purpose-specific ones—isn't just a technical upgrade; it’s a philosophical one.

💡 Why Fine-Tuning?

While foundational models like GPT-4 offer incredible general intelligence, real-world applications often demand:
— Domain-specific understanding
— Tone alignment
— Use-case adaptation
With tools like:

• pandas and DataFrames for preprocessing
• Curated CSV datasets for prompt-response tuning
• OpenAI’s fine-tuning infrastructure
• Model evaluation pipelines

I’m now able to shape models that not only answer — but reflect context, brand voice, and business logic.

🔧 My Journey So Far:

• Started with OpenAI’s fine-tuning CLI (CLI + JSONL formatting)
• Preprocessed training data using Python & pandas
• Trained domain-specific classifiers using prompt-completion architecture
• Validated results with test prompts before deployment
• Integrated fine-tuned models into production systems

And the results? Far more relevant outputs, faster inference in my use cases, and greater alignment with end-user needs.

Building an e-commerce website of a shoe store (MKO_FOOTWEAR) Everything about products details were rendered from backend Django admin , it comes with ordered products profile , cart, payment method integration and more .
You can take a look at https://mkofootwear.com still under development though .. but it's a very fantastic/simple looking e-commerce project .
I love seeing results of what I desired to keep doing .
