Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Do you know that your thoughts can affect things around you??
Yes!
That is because your thoughts send signals and those signals can be received by things connect to you and around you.
I guess you have had experience of thinking about something in particular so seriously, and even though you hadn't mentioned to anyone, someone near you started thinking the same thing and actually voiced it and you begin to say, I had been thinking about this particular thing.
In science, it's called "Telepathy": a transference of thought from one mind to another by extrasensory means.
But if you understand the spirituality behind this science, you'll become ever more careful about the thoughts you allow or the things you ponder on.

We should not just allow any thought in our mind.

Here is another verse of scripture for our contemplation;
(Proverbs 4:23 NIV)Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

King Solomon said it best: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

You will come to see why it's important to thinking the right thoughts always.

If you don't want to create certain thoughts in the mind of someone near you, don't think them, because you can transmit those thoughts.

"I had the opportunity to come across one of my late biological dad's book on Psychic Energy: the dynamic power behind all mental process and how you can just focus on someone that you don't even know and the person will respond. This is another topic on its own. I am just trying to give an example with something similar, how powerful God has created our minds"!

We transmit thoughts, and sometimes we inadvertly transmit negative thoughts into our space, environment that in turn hunts us and attack us.
Did you know that your room has thoughts from you? The walls , furniture, clothing, Car, shoes, etc., in your rooms are made from materials that have memory and can receive and retain information from you and what ever that have gotten from them can remain in them.
That's why you got to be very careful the kinds of thoughts you let through your mind so you don't make something you don't want happen.
