Gen Z is overrated.......... wait for Gen Alpha (Gen A), then you will know that Gen Zs are apprentices!!!

It was an opportunity to share my perspective on cybercrime and more importantly emerging technology and emerging crime during a panel discussant with Mr. Kayode Akintemi the MD of News Central TV, Former member of House of Representative, Hon. Chukwuemeka Ujam PhD FNSE mni, and the Director of NPF National Cyber Crime Center, CP Uche Ifeanyi at the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN POLICE (IAWP) Africa.

Like I said during my session, there are over 20 emerging technologies, with over 15 emerging crimes. If we are complaining of policing Gen Zs that had only computers as their abord, how do we now begin to Police Gen As that will have AI, Robotics, 3D printing, Blockchains, Drones, etc to use as their abord.

It's important that we begin to review the possibilities that comes with all these emerging technologies and initiate necessary regulations while building the capacity of law enforcement agencies in the fight against Second Decade crime of the 21st Century.

It was quite a memorable experience with the ever-lively Assistant Inspector General of Police, Dr. Aishatu Abubakar- Baju. Thank you DCP Grace for the invitation and a well-planned event with representatives of about 20 different African countries and UN Women.
