GateConnect

This summer Theaterfestival de Parade has been traveling trough 4 cities in the Netherlands. Now they are in the final city of Amsterdam. De Parade will be there until the 3rd of september, so if you have not visited yet go and see what is going on.

For ticket sales they are using the solution from Active Tickets. And for the actual acces control they rented our Honeywell scanners. Do you need to rent scanner for ticketing scanning? Reach out, we are happy to help.

What we are actually doing at GateConnect is connecting multiple sources of information and put that combination to use mainly for acces control.

Recently we were asked to develop a system to hand out machinery at events. What we wanted to make easy to put a name and phone number to the machine in a easy way. There are multiple providers of machinery. In this case Boels Events and RENT4CREW are the two main suppliers.

We are putting our own QR code with a random number on a machine from Boels and then combine that QR with the unique machine number. The prefix of that number tels us what kind of machine it is. The Rent4Crew equipment already have a QR code on them which we can use. Then when a person shows up to pick up a machine we can scan the accreditation QR and because we are connected to the accreditation system of the customer we can then get the name company info. Then we scan the QR on the machine and match that up.

Now we also imported the planning excel so we can show if the planning is in line with reality. Also we can show what machine need to change owner in the next days so that you can reach out if the machine is not brought back by the end of day.

Of course all the scanning is done by a dedicated scanner using 4g, so not depending on local wifi.

We can connect with multiple accreditations systems.

We hebben onze turnstiles de afgelopen periode al een paar keer mogen inzetten bij events van poppodium Doornroosje uit Nijmegen, die plaatsvonden in het openlucht theater Goffertpark. Onder andere tijdens Valkhof Festival.

Hier werd gebruik gemaakt van ActiveTickets voor de kaartverkoop.

Vorig jaar hebben wij voor het EK springen en dressuur in Rotterdam een koppeling gemaakt met ActiveTickets. Deze samenwerking is beide partijen goed bevallen.

Dus toen ActiveTickets voor het vernieuwde Allard Pierson de kaartverkoop mocht verzorgen, was er een partner nodig die de koppeling kon maken tussen de reeds aanwezige toegangspoortjes en het ticketing systeem. En door de eerdere samenwerking was hier 1+1=2.

GateConnect heeft hier de elektronica in de scanzuilen mogen leveren. Wij hebben de koppeling met ActiveTickets gemaakt en sturen de toegangspoortjes open indien er een geldig ticket is gescanned.
