It truly warms my heart to receive such personal messages about my new Piramide EP.

This place holds a special meaning for me — right in the city centre where I grew up. Back then, it was a darker side of Amsterdam, a hidden corner where acceptance wasn’t given freely. You had to show who you were, shaped by your upbringing and through athletics. Respect was something you earned.

These three songs capture that chapter of my life.

Here it is — my new EP Piramide, releasing May 1.

3 tracks that reflect a journey through my youth in a place I kept going back to — somewhere I didn’t fully belong as much as I thought, but that still pulled me in and held a lot of special moments.

Piramide — built around movement and progression.
Panna — about pride, belonging, and shared moments.
Code — a darker space shaped by pressure and group dynamics.

A project about being drawn to a place, even when you don’t completely fit into it.

It took me a couple of times to write this. Normally I just type something and post it. But for now i’ll try it like this.

I played an all-night set at Paradiso.

This is a venue in the city where I was born. It meant a lot to me that this pop temple was filled with humans I like, people I didn’t know yet, and friends from day one.

All these humans listened. All these humans danced.

I’ll write a longer version if you’d like, but I feel it’s okay like this. Because I’m still a bit shocked by how much this meant to me.

♥ Thank you all for being there with me throughout this unbelievable year. From my a/v live performance to sold-out DJ sets and closing main stages at festivals across the globe, see my friends become mothers and fathers makes me warm my heart, such big moments all in one year, it’s been a whirlwind I’m still trying to wrap my head around.

This year also brought new creative adventures: making music for film, fashion, myself and even the VPRO. Each project pushed me, challenged me, and reminded me why I love doing what I do. None of it would’ve happened without the support, trust, and energy you’ve given me along the way.

Just saw this compilation of some things i did the last months, made me happy,
I’ll be sharing more images of my year these days, lots of moments that still feel surreal.
Looking back, it’s been a transformative, life-changing moment.

I am already working with new and amazing human beings on next year’s BSS projects. And some aliases ;) i can’t wait to show you what’s coming.
