Amsterdam Data Collective - ADC

On Monday, Max, Saskia, and Eran attended (National Econometrician Day), which is the largest annual career event for Econometrics students in The Netherlands. On this day, over 800 students have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their future careers and get in contact with their potential future employers.

What do transition based leadership, new connections, gin & tonics, and bootcamp have in common? These are a few of the ingredients of our Strategy & Culture Day for which the ADC team travelled to the beautiful green surroundings of the Veluwe. Rik van der Woerdt: 
  
"This was a particularly exciting Strategy & Culture Day, as it was the first time that our Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Stockholm offices gathered together in person. We made a kick-start on how we want to capture the best of our joint knowledge and actively shape our culture as a post-merger collective. We're excited to share our updated strategy and culture plans as we implement them over the coming months!"

Over the past few weeks, we celebrated both Day of the Dead and Sinterklaas! Our Office and Events Manager, Odemaris, planned two incredible Friday afternoon drinks that honoured the traditions of Mexican and Dutch cultures.

Odemaris: "The Day of the Dead is a celebration to honour our loved ones who passed away. On this day, we enjoyed cultural performances and celebrated life together. For Sinterklaas, we invited the ADC Kids Club (children of ADC colleagues) to the office for activities, including a visit from Sinterklaas and Piet."
 
These events were a fun way to spend time as a Collective and celebrate each other's individuality. At ADC, we aim to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are promoted within our company culture year-round.
