At Affidea, we believe that the way our managers lead shapes the way our teams feel, collaborate and perform. This is why, three years ago, we launched the Affidea Core Program: a dedicated learning journey designed to strengthen leadership from the inside out.

This week, we proudly completed the 3rd edition of the programme, bringing together 41 Affidea key leaders from across our countries for four months of learning, reflection and exchange. Throughout the programme, participants deepened their understanding of their own leadership style and worked on essential capabilities including strategic thinking, communication, delegation and team development, both individually and in groups.

Just as importantly, the programme created space for leaders from different countries to connect, share experiences and build a stronger network across Affidea, while spending time together in Madrid.

Last Friday, our Centre of Excellence in Radiotherapy Affidea IMC Banja Luka marked an important milestone, presenting new technologies that further enhance the accuracy and precision of treatment. This investment reflects our continued commitment to advancing cancer care in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to supporting patients with innovative, coordinated treatment pathways that are closer to their needs.

The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Savo Minić, the Minister of Health, Dr. Alen Seranicć, the Director of the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nikola Šobot, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ranko Škrbić, together with many valued partners, colleagues and friends.

A special recognition goes to Marijan Bilic, CEO of Affidea Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose leadership and long-term dedication have been instrumental in building Affidea’s presence, reputation and cancer care capabilities in the country over the years.

This ceremony is not only about new technology. It is about our responsibility to keep raising standards of , to support our medical teams with the right tools, and to give patients greater confidence at one of the most difficult moments in their lives. 💙
