Idli Cooker is hiring Kitchen Assistants and Chef Assistants — energetic people welcome, whether you’re an experienced prep cook or a talented home cook ready to step into a professional kitchen.

The Roles
We’re hiring multiple positions to support our busy kitchen operations. You’ll be the backbone of service, helping our chefs deliver authentic South Indian dishes.

Key Responsibilities
• Prep mastery: fast, safe cutting, chopping, and prep of vegetables, meat, and fish
• Station support: assist the Head Chef with dish assembly and basic cooking tasks
• Kitchen hygiene: wash dishes, sanitize workstations, and maintain cleanliness
• Quality control: ensure ingredients are fresh and stored correctly

Shift Timings
• Afternoon: 14:00 – 17:00
• Evening: 17:00 – 22:00
• Full-day opportunities may be available for the right candidate

What We’re Looking For
• Experience: basic cooking experience (home cooking counts) or prior kitchen work
• Knowledge: familiarity with South Indian dishes
• Speed: ability to work quickly and safely with knives and equipment
• Attitude: punctual, clean, and a “can-do” spirit
• Versatility: happy to switch between chopping and dishwashing as needed
