ASP - Arnhem Student Point
Arnhem Student Point is an organization where students can meet, have fun and be or become themselves.
Over the past year, I've had the privilege of listening to stories, questions, doubts, hopes and moments of joy with students.
Some conversations stayed with me long after they ended. These reflections grew from those moments. Every Monday during the summer, we will share one reflection.
Perhaps these of them will stay with you, too.

Hey! Here are some tips/reminders on ways to calm your stress, in busy weeks we all need to be reminded to take a break every now and then🤍
Self care 🛁- Take some time to relax at home, do a face mask, have a bath or a longer shower.
Talking to someone 🫂- Be open about it, it always helps to talk and release the stress that your feeling. Someone else might relate to you as well!
Journal📓- Write about your feelings and stressors, it may create calmness and more of an overview when everything is too much.
Walk🚶♀️- Go outside for a walk, it can also calm your mind and be away from the stress for a while into nature.
Yoga 🧘- Do some simple yoga exercises, you can find them online and get back into your body and calm the nerves down.
Breathing techniques 🧘♀️- Try breathing techniques, you can also find these online. This can help in the moment if things get too much.
We hope these reminders/tips help you out a little and wish you all the luck with exams and anything you have on your plate 🍀🫶🏻

Feeling the pressure of exams or deadlines? You don’t have to face them alone. Join us next Tuesday 16/06 for a cosy study night at ASP, where we’ve set up a calm, comfortable space to help you focus, with snacks and drinks to keep you going. We’ll follow the Pomodoro technique, so there’s built-in time to breathe and connect with others. Bring whatever you’re working on and come as you are. You’ve got this! 💪
Ps. If you don’t want to study, you can bring a book or anything you’d like to work on in silence!
