We are very pleased (ecstatic!) to announce that our emergency project proposal "QoroNano" ("Quick On-site Recognition of viral Objects using Nanosensing") was preliminarily approved!

The goal of this project is to develop a system that can detect corona virus particles reliably, fast and easily - such that we can put it for example at hospital admission sites, airports or nursing homes! This way we can explosively increase our national testing capacity.

This project is another collaboration between ECsens, the University of Twente, Medisch Spectrum Twente and LabMicTA, funded mostly by Health Holland.
