Groninger Studenten Rugby Club - GSRC

After last week’s win G.S.R.C. 1 travels to RC the Pink Panthers for a beautiful game of rugby. The second team stays in Groningen to protect our holy fields. Kick-off for the first team is at 14:30 and the second team is at 14:00.

We start 2023 strong with our first Super Sunday. At 13:00 the first team plays against CL Dragquins 1 and right after that the second team plays against RC De Wrotters at 15:00. Make sure that you come down to the Manor and support the Studs this Sunday!

The Studs are back after a long winter break and are ready to continue their road to the championship. G.S.R.C. 1 is traveling to Dwingeloo to play against RC Dwingeloo 1 this Sunday.

The Groninger Studenten Rugby Club is once again participating in a great event called Movember. By doing this we hope to raise awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s health in general!

We will show our masculinity by growing the most beautiful moustaches on our upper lips. At the end of the month, we will present the end results on which rugger has the best stache.

Sadly we do not play a rugby match this weekend. But do not worry because we are celebrating Oktoberfest! On Saturday 22nd of October, The Walvisch and the Bares are coming to the Ascot Manor II where we will enjoy many German Weissbier and delicious bratwurst! We are expecting everyone to be dressed in a lederhosen or dirndls.
