STORY TIME 📖 From my recent chinoiserie design:

In this dream I'm having, I'm free. Free from judgment, free to be me, free from pretending, free from feeling inadequate and lonely. As a crane, a bird that's somewhat strange perhaps, but majestic at the same time, this one is flamboyant. Not because it's time to pretend, but because it's time to be himself. With his bright kimono and a fan in his wings, he is swinging on a swing he found in the park. The beautiful peonies remind him of his own strength, the unopened peony buds, of his own potential - the unstoppable power to be great. The "sprinkle" of smaller flowers remind him of home and where he came from, because it's also somehow important to him. But he will not reminiscence. He will let it be. For now.
The cage. It's finally open, but key is yet to be found. Or maybe it will never be found and this particular cage does not close? This particular cage just stays open forever.

Thank you Bärbell Dressler for having me 😃 It's been an absolute dream to create a chinoiserie pattern! I'll be back next year.
Due to my upcoming projects, this pattern is not available for sale (YET!) I will announce it in due course.
For now - I truly hope you love it as much as I do - it's meant for a wallpaper or a curtain panel, but I can imagine upholstered on some victorian armchair or similar too!

It's game time folks! It's bright and bold and honestly, I LOVE it! I based it on traditional card and board games and mixed in a tiny bit of pink for all those girlies out there loving a bit of get together with that poker face ;-) Enjoy!

Now, when I heard of this prompt: holiday print, I thought "oh, xmas then". I am so glad I decided on this spooky and fun gothic-y Halloween pink and black checkerboard. I added some dirt texture and of course - some orange spiderwebs 🕸️
