On her path to overcoming generational poverty by pursuing a career in finance, .benjamin.1 exchanged the comfort of a stable job at a bank for the adventurous but uncertain path of an entrepreneur.

In a few short years, she established herself as an expert in money laundering prevention and KYC compliance by learning everything she possibly could about the latest regulations.

Every Friday after a busy working week, she would hop on a train to London to follow a Ph.D. from Wolverhampton in hope that one day her research would help reduce financial crime and inspire youth to stay out of it.
