Looking back on a great week at Maritime Industry 2026,
Yet another year where we exhibited our simulation solutions that enable learning.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth and engaged with us.
The conversations throughout the week showed once again how important simulation continues to be in helping maritime professionals build safer and future-ready skills.
As we reflect on last week, we are already looking forward to the next year 2027!

There is no better way to learn about maritime simulation than by stepping behind the controls and experiencing it for yourself π
VSTEP's Alexios Limnios is at Posidonia 2026 to do exactly that. Come by booth 2.104 to try a NAUTIS simulator, get a closer look at our technology, and let's talk about how simulation can support maritime professionals in preparing for challenging operations in a safer way.
If you are walking around Posidonia this week make sure to stop by.

A new update is here for NAUTIS Home! π’
Weβre pulling into this release with a few additions that make individual practice clearer and more varied.
In this update, you will find:
β Basic Towage: Towage makes its first introduction in NAUTIS Home through premade, structured scenarios. Users can start exploring tug operations with the tugs Olena and Grutte Pier in a fictional port environment. The scenarios also include simulated towing forces in kilonewtons. When the maximum force is exceeded, the towline can snap, adding an important layer of realism.
β Improved Navigation Lights: Navigation lights have been updated to behave more clearly and realistically in different conditions, including fog, distance, and night-time operations.
β Top-down Mooring Cam: A new camera angle that shows the vessel from straight above. It is especially useful during mooring and close-quarter manoeuvring, where a little extra perspective can make a big difference.
This release also includes additional improvements across NAUTIS Home, with more developments already on the horizon. Take a look at the full release notes and the updated roadmap to see what is new and what is coming next π
