LASTIGE BARRÉ AKKOORDEN - IN 3 LESSEN - VLOT LEREN SPELEN! :)

Na de basisakkoorden bij ons goed te leren spelen wilde Dirk (66) ook met de lastige barre-akkoorden gaan beginnen.

Maar had in het begin veel pijn aan zijn vingers en kon de barré akkoorden niet goed grijpen. Het klonk bij hem elke keer weer vals. Hij dacht dat het hem niet zou gaan lukken de barré akkoorden ooit goed te kunnen spelen :(

We hadden toen samen een persoonlijke (op maat) Gitaar Challenge voor hem bedacht om de barre akkoorden bij Hotel California zo snel mogelijk goed te leren spelen. Plus een simpele(re) slagritme erbij te kunnen spelen.

Na 3 lessen heeft Dirk dit aan de hand van onze unieke S5- LESMETHODE daadwerkelijk ook bereikt! :)

Last few days improvising over a fusion/rock backing track by Guthrie Govan ('Wave').

While practicing, trying to come up with some new melodies, more interesting riffs & lick ideas 🎶

I was using & combining different 🎸solo and improvisation techniques... such ➡️ IMPROVISATION BOOSTERS ⬅️... like: 👇

- Two Pentatonic scale-box approach/combination
- Chromatic (John Petrucci inspired) lick ideas 💡
- Combining fast(er) + slow(er) runs 🏃‍♂️
- My 'nail-sliding' technique 💅
- Register Changes (back and forth, from Lower sounding notes to Higher sounding notes, plus fretboard areas)
- Creating 'catchy' riffs/licks
- Developing melancholic, hopeful and/or happy melodies
- Playing with or without a plectrum
- Using and holding my index finger like a plectrum, for fast playing & quicker multi-fingers (hybrid) transition
- Using double-stops, forward/backwards slides, (unison) bends, downward picking, alternate picking etc. etc.

The more of these kinds of things/techniques ("IMPROVISATION BOOSTERS") you use during your guitar solos or improvisations, the cooler/more fascinating (and therefore ultimately less boring) and much more exciting you will find it for yourself (plus for others who are listening to you) 💡😍👍
