Your day when you start using it. I have been lucky to sn**ch up these Emma Hardie Skincare]]] products from recently and I understand the hype now. It’s like taking a stroll in a botanical garden and be able to use whatever you smell and find appealing instantly. Gentle, plant-based, invigorating, relaxing, soothing and effective. All in one. That’s hard to achieve.

I sometimes feel overwhelmed when going on holiday, knowing I can only bring a limited amount of skincare as I can’t compromise on the survival basics (insect pre and after bite), medicine for small and big, thermometer, band aids, disinfectant for scrapes and scratches, etc). Yet, it’s a struggle, especially if going into different climates in one trip. My skin is just generally parched from the flight, car ride, being tired and dehydrated.

My solution is to layer it as you would with your clothes. I bring an essential super hydrator, a night recovery mask, an eye cream, a mask to pamper, a cleansing balm and of course high SPF. All this with products that have withstood the rest of time and are fail proof.

I have been meaning to dedicate a post to my favorite facial oils, for me this is the epitome of self-care at home. Affordable, luxurious, a sensory trip to my imaginary SPA, and the perfect solution to switching up your daytime-nighttime routine.

Did you know that a lot of makeup artists use facial oils under foundation to achieve that dewy glow? There are dry oil formulas that offer hydration and boost that are designed to wear during the day.

Did you also know that you can apply creams on top of your oils to lock in the moisture and promote deeper pe*******on of the product?

Did you know that you can mix in facial oils with your cleansers (the gentle kinds) to nourish your skin while you cleanse?

This historical skincare brand (est. 1927) that was considered revolutionary and pioneer of its era, stands close to my heart. I still regard as a Hungarian 🇭🇺 brand, mainly because aesthetic skincare has a deeply embedded tradition in Hungarian culture.
Dr. László introduced soap and water as a cleanser as opposed to cold creams of the time. He was the first one to:

- Launch a “dermatologist brand;
- Create personalized skincare rituals;
- Develop skincare programs for teens;
- Introduce a skincare system for men;
- Formulate sunscreens and products with pH-balance;
