It has been an enriching afternoon with these inspiring women: Ms Shirin Musa - Director of Femmes For Freedom, Dr Nazand Begikhani - Senior Research Fellow Bristol University, and Ms Kirsten Van Den Hul - The Change Agent armed with Butterflies.

Shirin de Shirin Musa is the founder and director of Femmes for Freedom.
Besides her activities for Femmes for Freedom, she is a lawyer in training.

‘’I have established Femmes for Freedom because I have myself been a caught woman, and strive to liberate woman who are still oppressed. Therefore, I strongly believe in equality and freedom, and the burning idea of being supressed and chased touches me deeply. Moreover, I believe in the importance of freedom of speech, fundamental human rights, and the uniqueness of the human being. Essentially, Femmes for Freedom is based on my own experiences as an oppressed woman, and my everlasting drive for freedom, love and happiness which will create a better world. I want everyone to recognize the caught woman among us, and help them to break their chains of suppression, and become a free woman in our beautiful world’’
