Dawless beatchopping and slicing in real time. No sampling or editing needed in advance.

How it works:
By pressing any of the keys of the upper row, you basically select a delay that is a multiple of the selected note length. By playing patterns using the upper keys, you can keep changing the delay time in a way that we can repeat a note, or change the order of the music entirely.

Sync to MIDI-clock and analog gate voltage. Send detected or external sync as MIDI-clock

Midi out:
Since Timetosser detects the tempo of the incoming audio, the MIDI-output can be used to send out that tempo. This means you can synchronise your MIDI-gear and have them play in time with anything you feed into Timetosser.

Blur the lines between deejaying and live performing by having synths and drum machines play alongside your tracks.

Audio Plugin / usb connectivity:
Besides being a standalone device, Timetosser can also be connected to your computer. This way, it becomes a USB MIDI interface and controller for the Timetosser audio plugin (VST & AU).

The audio plugin is a virtual Timetosser that can be dropped as an effect on an audio track in your DAW. One of up to eight plugin instances can be selected and controlled from the hardware unit.

Fun fact: the vocal slices were produced with the Timetosser 👍

All right! Dave Mech Live will be providing an in-depth demo with the Mk2 🤝

Our talented friend and kind neighbour has been working with great passion the past decades making electronic music, reviewing other renowned music machines, teaching music and above all: spreading his own driving techno sound across the planet through his energetic live performances.

Back in 2020 he reviewed one of our pre-production prototypes at his old home studio in Utrecht 🙂 These few clips show a first glance on the Timetosser five years ago where he gives some short examples of how the Timetosser works and what you can do with it. Also hinting on the prospects of having a looper and slicer function, on which (among other stuff) he will dive deeper in the new video series coming up this club season!
