Studio Wantia was founded in the search of optimism and play within our daily lifes.
Work in progress of my new work made for .unified during .utrecht.design !
ECHO is a group exhibition, bringing together 14 designers, all working with aluminium from local industry partner Nedal Aluminium.
In my new work I’m using aluminium tubes as an integrated weaving material, transforming discarded aluminium through color and pattern, and merging rigidity with tactility.

Fixed Forms nr03 • A serie of printed aluminium, exploring color, combining 2D printed surface in a 3D construction. Arranging and stacking colors, creating depth and contrast. ✨
Opening new perspectives on how to combine 2D printing techniques with 3D shapes. Really looking forward to keep on developing this serie!

Studio Wantia is a design studio focusing on graphic and playful patterns. I have a true love for color and patterns. ✨I see pattern as more than just a flat surface, it’s a design method that brings surroundings and objects to life. Through a hands-on practice I’m developing prints as a cross-disciplinary form connecting different fields of design. I believe the start of something new is not accomplished by the mind, but by acts of playful intuition. By playing with material, color and shape across graphic visuals, objects, arts and spatial experiences, new perspectives become tangible. 🌸
