On Saturday, January 4, the city of Chennai in India became a vibrant canvas for creativity 🎨

Hope Unlimited and Daxo, in partnership with Action Aid Association in Chennai, hosted a day of imagination and self-expression for ten children from marginalized communities in Tamil Nadu, featured in the children’s digital magazine , a magazine published by Hope Unlimited.

Flowers bloomed on paper, characters came to life in vivid colors, and the room pulsed with impromptu singing and dancing. 🌺 🎭 💃

These children, supported by families who dare to dream big despite limited means, showcased the incredible power of talent and creativity. Expressing oneself takes boldness and power—like walking in a glamorous dress and owning your identity as if no one’s watching.

Karthika, a 14-year-old whose name means “bestower of courage” in Tamil and Hindi, was one of these young artists. She is also the creative mind behind the T-shirt design we will launch on February 7. Hope Unlimited is supporting the ten children with a scholarship for their education.
