The duet of Kostis Katsibras (guitar, vocals) and Stelios Ladopoulos (bouzouki, vocals) brings to life the sounds of Greek urban folk and rebetiko music, performing songs from the 1930s to 1960s by composers such as Vasilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Chiotis, Apostolos Chatzichristos, Kostas Skarvelis, and Giannis Papaioannou.

Their sound captures the nostalgia of the gramophone era, blending the warm acoustic tones of the bouzouki and guitar with the art of “primo segonto” vocals. The performance evokes the atmosphere of the mid-war rebetiko scene, while offering fresh interpretations through subtle improvisation and unique arrangements.

Tasos Kofodimos and Yvonne Melissa present "Roots and Horizons." An evening dedicated to the sounds of the Eastern Mediterranean and Greek tradition, both anonymous and renowned creations, with the lute and violin conversing improvisations, transformations, and live interpretations.
