�Arone Dyer (the queen of whimsy in this video♥) came up with this awesome pop-up choir project, and you can join in Utrecht during on March 21.

you won’t need any experience or preparation: just a pair of headphones. in your ears, you’ll hear a guide track that you can sing along to, becoming part of a unique choir that only exists that day. together we’ll move through the space, sing, and perhaps even inspire the audience to sing along.

this project - ‘Dronechoir’ - is created by , one of my favourite singers ever. she’s also one of the most fun-inducing people, so I know this is going to be quite the ride. both the listeners and performers will get to explore the music for the first time during the performance. what an adventure!

Tomorrow this microtonal beast called ‘Manoeuvre’ will be performed again by Anne Veinberg and Ere Lievonen. I composed it in 2016 for the 96-tone Carillo piano and the 31-tone Fokker organ. A gorgeous puzzle in which hardly any microtones overlap. To make matters worse, it seemed a good idea at the time to base the entire piece on South-Indian rhythmical structures. I don’t think there is any other duo on this planet that would be able to perform this eerie piece of music.
