Er is alweer een nieuwe maand aangebroken, en ook de komende weken hebben we weer allerlei leuke activiteiten voor jullie! De SpiCie dompelt ons een avondje onder in de wereld van speciaalbier 🍺, de ArtCie nodigt ons uit voor een kunstzinnige zwarte piste 🎨, de SocietCie leert ons alles over ‘Queerness and Disability’ op het jaarlijkse symposium 🎤, en daarnaast is er nog zó veel meer! En halverwege de maand gaan we op reis 🧳 naar Parijs! 🇫🇷🥖 Zijn jullie je Frans al aan het oefenen? 👀

Another month has begun, and we’ve got all sorts of fun activities lined up for you over the coming weeks! The SpiCie is immersing us in the world of craft beer for an evening 🍺, the ArtCie is inviting us to a creative ‘zwarte piste’ 🎨, the SocietCie is teaching us all about ‘Queerness and Disability’ at the annual symposium 🎤, and there’s so much more! Halfway through the month, we’re going on a trip 🧳 to Paris! 🇫🇷🥖 Have you started practising your French yet? 👀

This year the SocietCie welcomes you to a unique and diverse symposium on q***rness and disability!

Three speakers all took their creative liberty and prepared unforgettable talks on the topic:🔎
✨ Slava Greenberg is an assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam whose research covers trans studies, disability studies, and film theory.
✨ Bo Davids is an RMA student at Utrecht University.
✨Kir Robben & Marloes Jacobse are two members of mixed-abled theater collective Speels Collectief.

We zijn alweer in een nieuwe maand 🐣, en ook de komende weken hebben we weer ontzettend veel activiteiten voor jullie! We gaan studentikoos flunkyballen met Dionysos 🍇, onze eigen pasta leren maken met de SpiCie 🍝, boeketten leren maken met de ArtCie 💐, en nog zó veel meer! En richting het einde van de maand nemen de commissies het tegen elkaar op in de commissiebattle 🛡️, dus maak je klaar voor een spannende maand! 👀

Sociale veiligheid is erg belangrijk binnen Anteros. Zie je iets gebeuren of overkomt je iets waar je je niet helemaal fijn bij voelt? Dan kun je altijd terecht bij een bestuurslid of een VertrouwensContactPersoon. Op dit moment hebben we drie VCP’s die je kunt benaderen. Social safety is very important within Anteros. If you see something happening or if something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable, you can always contact a board member or a counslor (in dutch often referred to as VCP). We currently have three counselors you can contact. They can offer a listening ear or refer you to the right support. All conversations are confidential. Met de start van het nieuwe collegejaar zal ook de introperiode beginnen! Deze bestaat uit een heleboel gezellige activiteiten én een introductiekamp. Bij Anteros is de introductie volledig vrijblijvend; je bent overal welkom, maar niets is verplicht! Tijdens de introperiode word je bovendien in een introgroepje geplaatst, dat je helpt om je weg te vinden binnen de vereniging. In line with the start of the new study year, the intro period wil also kick off! This consists of lots of fun activities and an introduction camp! At Anteros, the introduction is completely without obligation; you’re welcome at all the activities, but nothing is mandatory! Next to that, you will be placed into an intro group during the introduction period, which will help you to find your way within the association! Becoming a member of Anteros is possible all-year long, so make sure to sign up now to be able to participate in the introduction period. Questions?
