Big visions rarely make sense to people who cannot see what you see.

That is why so many dreamers get laughed at in the beginning.

The results are invisible.

The proof does not exist yet.

All people can judge is your current reality.

So they call it unrealistic.

Risky.

Delusional.

Keep going anyway.

Every successful entrepreneur has spent time looking foolish before looking successful.

My backyard is my wild sanctuary and has been for 3 years. I lease this house and it’s became a portal to so much healing and gentleness and dream building. I sip coffee listening to the birds with the dogs, I decorate, nurture the plants, walk the sweet hills and gaze at the changing seasons all around all of the time.

Despite all of this I have noticed an underlying tension in my limbs about the possibility of my landlord selling it. I tell her all the time I love it here and I never want to leave! It is mine.

The other day I had a realization hit me like a lightning bolt. I could easily buy it. I have a business that supports me. I have a deep relationship with my business like an entity. I have security. I have built a life that can hold me and this house and my dreams. I am not tied to an employer that can fire me at any time. I’m not at the mercy of linked in. I am not groveling at the feet of future employers. I am not tied to a schedule that disrupts my body.

I am entirely myself and anyone who wants to come in to this magic joins my programs

This is why I started my business and creative collective, Fern.

I am passionate about women and their freedom. I am always swimming in creative imaginings and what can be birthed from these.

This life is fleeting. You need to take a stand and own your life. We wait and wait for what? The time is never right. The possibilities and tools are everywhere. The limit isn’t there when you are doing your own thing. We have SO much AVAILABLE to us. You don’t have to listen to anyone that isn’t in the room and ring.

Listen to women who have DONE it. Who have created a life from scratch. Who have made their lives and businesses work for them and their families.

I promise you it exists if you dare own it.
